I bought the V. Smile Baby unit to help my children learn words and interaction. Do you want to know where it is now? In a box, not being used and a waste of money. I was a new mom trying to do everything I could to help my children learn, not knowing that V. Smile Baby was useless. An educational DVD is by far the better choice to teach or just reading and teaching them yourself. The unit consists of a control unit and a cartridge unit. You connect it to your DVD player and view the cartridge content on the television. It seems like the programs are in slow motion. Kids can also use a different mode and interact with the television or play with it "stand alone." I spent 50.00 for the unit and paid 10.00 for each cartridge. I own five cartridges. So I have about 100.00 wrapped up in this thing. It is almost two years old and I maybe used it five times. The kids just weren't interested in it. I guess I could describe it as plain "goofy".
