Plantronics .Audio 480 is a very slim and sleek-looking headset, with attractive bendable blue mic that has a noise cancelling feature making it possible to chat or talk even in a crammed coffee shop like Starbucks. It's quite amazing how the people you're talking with will hear almost nothing of the background noise, just the crisp clearness of your voice. It's nice to have six sound-isolating earbuds to choose from that also block the surrounding noise that goes through your ear making it possible to just focus on the conversation you're having.
When I got this headset back in January, it also includes a short clip to attach the mic and a volume slide to adjust the volume (obviously) without having to configure it from the computer or laptop. Mute is also possible through a little button beside the volume slide. The set also includes a black, sturdy case to protect it from getting squished when you're carrying it around.
Now there are two possible ways to plug your Plantronics .Audio 480 to the pc:
1. Through USB port. This option is for pc's with updated operating system which makes it easy detect this hardware.
2. Through analog port. Simply plug it in and it's ready to go.

WHAT I LIKE ABOUT IT:

• Sleek, minimalist, modern design

• Excellent digital sound quality
• Perfect to bring anywhere, folds easily and comes with a hard case to secure it.
• Very Easy to use -- plug it in and talk your heart out

WHAT I DON'T LIKE ABOUT IT:

• The plugs can be quite a nuisance in the beginning coz it may feel like it's about to touch your eardrums.
• Quite expensive -though that gives me more reason to take better care of it.

Hey tatertots, awesome review. But it looks like you had some trouble copying and pasting from Microsoft Word or a similar program. Next time you paste a review in from there, use the "Paste as Plain Text" button (the clipboard one on the far right). That should get rid of all the computer text at the end.
