Pine grove dude ranch

The Pine grove dude ranch is a all inculsive vacation for the whole family. There is horseback riding and lots of activites for the kids. However this place is run down and dirty. We arrived after 12:00 am on a friday night.We were exhasted but when we saw our run down room my hubby wanted to drive the b3 hours back home. If I wasn't afraid he would fall asleep driving and kill us all I would have let him.

The room smelled like a sewer. We tried to sleep but actually had to request a new room. We switched to a new room and it was not any better. We got the feeling they were not surprised and had these complaints regularly. In the morning my kids were up and about and begged us to go horse back riding before we left. Well one thing led to another and the kids followed one activity to another.They were having a blast we couldn't drag them away. The went fishing, went to the petting zoo there, went swimming outdoors (the pool is new) went on a haywagon ride, played differnt games with other kids and the staff for prizes and played paintball (addional charge). The kids begged us to stay and we reluctently agreed. They were having a fabulous time and we were suffering.

 The food was horrible and my hubby and I could not eat it. The kids however didn't notice and like the free icecream and snack all day option. To make a long story short this place is dirty old and run down but fun for kids. The indoor pool is scary, moldy and dingy do not use it! The rooms are small cramped and moldy as well as dirty asnd gross. I would not go back ever but my kids had a blast! My nine year old still says can we go back to that stinky place it was fun. If this place was remodeled though I would go back in a heartbeat. I am sure in its prime it was a five star vacation spot.
