Bricanyl - really effective!

My daughter had been coughing recently and her cough sounded like she was already having bouts with asthma. Her cough was that itchy kind of cough where no matter how you tried to expel something, it just wouldn't budge.

So, I took her to the doctor and was diagnosed as having  bronchial asthma. She was prescribed to take this Bricanyl 0.3 mg syrup/elixir for a week, thrice daily of 5 ml dosage. I was okay with the medicine prescribed to her because I used to take this when I was younger while having asthma attack. I  know how effective Bricanyl is. It worked for me many times.

This medication is really potent in terms of effectiveness in providing relief. My daughter was up and about after a week from her medication. Although Bricanyl is said not to affect the ability to drive or use machineries, it still has excipients which somehow makes one very sleepy or groggy. Well, at least that was its effect on us. I had to keep my daughter from school because she was always falling asleep while in medication. It was hard to concentrate when you are drinking Bricanyl or even other medication for asthma.
