Carnival Holiday "Fun Ship" Cruise
Share and Enjoy:
My husband and I took a four day cruise on the Carnival "Fun Ship" this last May. This was our very first cruise. We live in Birmingham, Alabama ... so embarking and check-in was quick and easy. The Mobile, Alabama Port crew knew exactly what they were doing. We loved our cabin ... although small we could see great out of our port window. Our destination was Keywest, Florida. Everyone on the ship was so nice. The ship was so very clean. The famous Carnival towel critters are made by the steward staff and were placed on our bed ... we got a new one each night. The entertainment was wonderful and included a comedy show. From breakfast to lunch to dinner ... food was available around the clock and always fresh and great. We ordered room service several times. I was so surprised at the amount of food, the availability, and the quality. There were all kinds of buffets. All the staff was so very friendly and ready to serve you with your every need. We dined at the sit down dinner every night at the "Four Winds". You are seated at the same table each night with 6 other people. We were lucky to have found a group of very lovely people! There are several shops to buy anything you need and the casino was so much fun. Our shore excursion to Key West was great! We went on the "Conch Train" tour and saw all the popular attractions including the Ernest Hemingway Museum. We bought shells and ate at several restaurants ... so much fun! We definitely had a wonderful time and would recommend this cruise to anyone!

We were supposed to go to Mexico but because of the swine flu outbreak the cruise line diverted us to Keywest instead
I am happy you loved your cruise trip! I used to be a travel agent and offered cruise packages from Carnival, Royal Caribbean, Star cruises, etc. It's really a good value for money kind of package bec everything is inclusive. Funny how I used to sell stuff like this but never went on a cruise trip myself :) Great review and thanks for sharing the photos! I love all of them.
