All my efforts before to lose weight has gone futile. My weight loss program went astray after my vacation from the US. Oh, I am not blaming US for that. There are just plenty of sumptuous food to taste in the great US of A. I just can't say no to all those!
So, when I cam back from my recent trip to US, I instantly prepared a line up of activities I would do to get myself back on track and one of that is to engage in walking and running.
I bought this DVD few years ago when I was starting to gain weight. It has helped me maintain my weight to a healthy level until lately. I just have to do this work out again not for vanity's sake but this time it is for my precious health.
Prevention is one of a great resource of healthy lifestyle tips, workout programs, weightloss programs, healthy recipes and tools. They produced this Walk Your Way Slim to encourage everyone to take a step to fulfill their health goals. The fitness program consists of beginners, intermediate and advanced levels. So if you are just starting off, then the you should follow the beginners work out steps. I follow the intermediate with a combination of the advance because I have been running and brisk-walking regularly. My stamina can already take some of the advanced steps.
The steps are mainly walking in place, walking sideways, front and back steps, some jumping and arm movements and torso twists. Doing the workout really makes your body move so you will definitely tone and shed pounds.
The program is aimed to help you burn fat and boost energy with easy cardio moves. One good thing about this workout program is that, you don't need to go to a gym to do this. This is purely an indoor workout activity so you get to save on gym membership fees.
The whole workout runs for approximately 50 minutes. The instructor is Michelle Dozois who also has other workout videos under Prevention on Pilates.

It sounds good but I don't think it would be of much help. (Don't tell others, unless someone keeps telling me to do something, I just keep sleeping of viewing my television). Anyway, I won't need this as I am almost maintaining a good figure. But yes, if sometimes I start gaining weight, I shall refer it back. Thanks for sharing.
If found a number of great health related products from Prevention and this sounds like an easy way to get in shape, lose weight and do so without having to spend tons of money - very easy things to do and we all have the equipment ;) Thanks for the info on this - although I'd not need it for losing weight, it still sounds like something that would help keep toned.
