The Sims 3 - Infinite Possibilities

Share and Enjoy:

At first I was skeptical of purchasing the Sims 3.  Another game to clutter my harddrive and use up my memory.  I wasn't even sure how different It could be from previous Sims releases.  I was wrong to worry though, even at its $50 price tag, which is honestly more then I would like to spend on a computer game, it was very much worth it!

The game is beautiful with a huge detailed city and all of it's inhabitants roaming freely.  At first I had trouble with the graphics as my graphics card is a little outdated (I will leave all of the game specs at the end), the game will still run without an up to date card however, but you will not be able to load certain things, and there will always be a few glitches which is the case with running any game without the correct specifications.

The game comes with a great character customization feature right off the bat.  You have the ability to edit almost every detail of your Sim.  From his/her's basic body type, to the width of their noses bridge and the depth of their chin.  I was very happy with the the customization in this game, and while I couldn't get a Sim to look exactly like me, I was still very happy.

You're next choice is to choose where to live.  You can buy a home, or build one from the ground up.  Make sure you get a job soon because you'll need money for your bills and of course to put cool new stuff in your house.  Homes are very realistic, needing maintenance from time to time and having the ability to upgrade appliances.  Once you've got your home and have found a job, well the possibilities are infinite!

You can do just about anything in this game, and you can end up anywhere, whether you want to be a common theif, a rockstar, or the leader of the free world!  Live out a whole new virtual life, meet other sims, and have fun!

The game can always get a little repetative, constantly feeding, bathing, and resting your Sims, but every time I come back to this game I always find sometghing enjoyable to do and having the game for quite some time now I still find myself just as in love with the game now as I was before.

My advice, if you're into Sims games, as you have to be a certain type of person, or think it would be cool to live in a virtual world (haha), buy this game.  It is a bit pricey for a game, if you can find it used go for it, but honestly there are no regrets here, this game is great!
