Gentle and Rich
This was Fed-exed to me recently. I was so pleased to see it on my porch. I saw on the box that it was from Allure Magazine. I have been entering Allure.com's giveaways for a while, so I was pretty overjoyed. I get very excited when I win anything, especially anything beauty related!
I was thrilled to see that this was labeled fragrance-free. I have yet to find an unfragranced product that actually has no scent. I am pretty sure it's impossible! When I smell this, it has an odd smell. It smells just like Scotch Tape. I don't see this as a fragrance, per se. I think that this is just what the cream smells like and since Aveeno didn't use fragrance, they couldn't cover up that strange scent.
Though, this smells like an office product, I still like it and will use it up. I find the lotion to be quite creamy and rich. A little goes a long way with this one. It absorbs easily and is non-greasy. The "tape smell" fades a few minutes after application, but it is offputting when first applying it.
The size I won is 12 fl. oz. (534 mL). The product's retail value on Drugstore.com is $8.59.
