A nice layered look

I did a trade with a user of a forum I am a member of. One of the items I received was this accessory. I think it is cute and pretty. It is best suited for daytime and very casual clothing. There are four beaded strands on this. One strand has clear beads on it. The other strands have the following color of beads on them: tan, white, and charcoal. The colors go well together. They're all neutral and natural. There is a pretty charm on this that I can move around. It is in the shape of a butterfly.

Each strand has different shapes on it. The clear colored beads are in a cylindrical shape. There are seed beads on this in two different colors and sizes. One size is larger and is the white color. The charcoal beads come in a smaller size. They are extra shiny, as well. The tan beads are transparent ovals. I like the variety of the beads.

All the beads are made of plastic. The tan ones feel almost rubbery to the touch. I'm pretty sure that the charm and the clasp are not made of silver. So far it hasn't irritated my sensitive skin. I am usually allergic to metals that aren't gold or sterling silver. I am estimating that this cost between $10-$14 at the store.

I'm really pleased with my trade. The only problem with the necklace is sometimes the strands can look a little twisted or they don't lay just right, so when I put it on I have to make sure it looks okay.
