The makers of the Vitamin O dietary supplement claim that the product will help to increase the level of oxygen in your bloodstream, thus improving your health. They claim that people who have used the product have had a decrease in asthma symptoms and improved heart function, amongst other things. Of course, they can't make health claims themselves because the product isn't FDA approved.
I tried Vitamin O for a while. I chose the spray bottle version and sprayed the product under my tongue three times a day. The sea water, "electrified" to enhance and maintain "oxygen content" tastes more like a watered down hydrogen peroxide, to me. Oh, wait - hydrogen peroxide IS water with oxygen in it. Hmm. I felt no change in my overall health.
The FDA has filed charges against the makers of this product because they advertise it as having health benefits, which is a major no-no, as mentioned before. It's also believed to have trace elements of germanium, which is known to be dangerous as well. All in all, this is a product you should probably avoid.
I spent about $10 for this 2 fl. oz bottle and I don't recommend it to anyone. If anything, results are more than likely psychosomatic. If that doesn't bother you - go for it!
