Fluoxetine (Prozac)

I wanted to do a review on this drug because of how it has impacted my life.  It is obviously a medication for depression, nervous disorders, eating disorders, etc. but I have been using it for depression.  I do have to say first that there are some side effects.  I personally have had weight gain and other issues from using Prozac. 

The benefits have far outweighed the cons.  I went from basically living like a hermit to being "normal" and participating in life's activities.  This was a major step for me because I have lived my whole life afraid of people and going places.  I always hated meeting new people and going to new places. 

My life today is so drastically different.  I have been taking it for just over two years now and I have a life now that I never dreamed that I would have before.  I still don't love meeting new people or going new places but it is bearable and sometime I even have fun!  There is no more panic attacks, either.  I have to say that for depression, this drug really works.
