Adidas Climalite Shirt Not On My Favorites List

This shirt was given to all the people who attended the annual conference of the North Country Trail Association. The blank shirts were donated by Sheels Sports, and the trail association had them printed with their logos. But the shirts carry the Adidas label, and are made of a fabric called ClimaLite. Climalite is 100% polyester, and the shirt appears to simply be knit in a very fine stockinette stitch. It must be treated with something so that it can carry that special name.
Here are the good things:
The fabric is very lightweight so it’s comfortable in the summer.
The tag information is printed on so there is no fabric tag to irritate.
The fabric is supposed to wick moisture away. We haven’t worn it while exercising hard enough to really have an opinion about that.
The fabric is soft with a much better feel than a lot of wicking fabrics.
Here are the not so good things:
There is a secondary plastic tag sewed into the shoulder seam
The shirts are sized terribly! I don’t like t-shirts tight, but neither do I like them falling off my shoulders. I usually wear a men’s small, but if they are sized a bit large I go with a small. The small size of this shirt (the smallest they had), is way too big for me. The neck opening is large and although one might want that in a certain style, I don’t like it in a regular t-shirt.
The fabric is quite thin. With a white shirt this makes it so that you can really see through it. I’m not crazy about that look. I’m no teenager that needs to show off her bra through her clothes. You can tell in the picture that you can even see the imprint on the back of the shirt as a shadow right through both layers of fabric.
What we did with it:
I have read reviews by other people who really like this fabric, so you might want to do some more research, but I personally don’t care for the shirt. In the end I gave it to my husband.
He likes the feel, and doesn’t care that it’s thin, but it’s really quite large on him.
