The AC & DC power  generator  and built in battery jumper is something we all should have. The unit is great for the things we need to have power for, when the electricity is out, or everyday usuage.  Whether you use it  for your car, truck,boat or house(120 VAC), use  with safety.  The unit is sleek and the design makes it fit almost anywhere.  The design of the clamps are fully insulated and fit all size hands. Storage for the clamps is easy to use with the holsters. When you use the battery charger it automatically shuts off when charging is done which saves the life of your battery. There is a status meter that tells when the unit is ready,  or needs a  charge. The generator has a pivoting light, that can be put in the direction needed. 

The built in 12 volt DC power comes from your cigarette lighter socket or any accessory 12VCD outlet. If using for household use the AC power has a 300 watt inverter, and comes with two standard AC receptables.  The inverter  can convert to 12 volt DC from a battery or 115 volt household AC power. Colored led lights tell if  the unit is on, no output of power, or low battery. Also theres an indicator for overload, if the power rating exceeds the rating for the generator.

We purchased this before an ice storm, and we ended up with no power. We made sure it was in working condition when the storm approached. Our main use, was to use with our heater, so that we could stay warm. I must say it worked great. Since then we have had many different uses for this unit. I highy recommend it to anyone .
