For my storing needs

This is the unit I use to store my dog's food in. It has a 30 quart capacity. It can hold 25+ pounds of cat kibble, 30+ pounds of dog food and 40+ pounds of bird seed. It is a generous size. It measures 10 3/4" in  width x 16 1/2" in length x 16 1/2" in height. It is made of hard plastic. It feels very durable and like I will have it for years to come. I've had it for a year now, and I can see it lasting way longer.

There is a black latch at the top, in the front. This works fine and is easy to open and close. The top is a #3 airtight lid. I believe that since this is airtight it keeps the food fresh. Recently, I ran into a problem with the lid. I took off the lid completely so that I could pour food in easier. In the past, I've left it on and simply lifted it up. I didn't want to have it in my way while pouring this extra heavy bag of food. I haven't been able to snap it back on. It takes much too much effort and pressure to press the back pieces together. I wish I didn't unsnap them. Right now, I have the lid on and latched in the front, but the back still remains unsecured. I wish those pieces fit together more readily.
