Purchased a new 18V Hitachi EB181SL drill, what a mistake. Doesn't drill through a 2x4. Took to Authorized Repair Depot and they said it was working fine and I should have not wasted my money. Hitichi doesn't want to deal with the warranty issue nor respond to my many emails over the last 10 months. I would strongly suggest you buy a DeWalt or Rigid drill instead.
