Get Smart Again - DVD
If you are one of the many fans of the 1965-1970 television series "Get Smart", then you and your family will absolutely adore this dvd movie! Set in 1989, all the old CONTROL gang is back - Max, 99, Larabee, Hymie, Agent 13 and the KAOS nemesis, Siegfreid and his sidekick Shtarker also appear. Sadly the Chief of Control, portrayed by Ed Platt, is not in this movie as Mr. Platt died in 1974. A red Sunbeam Tiger like the one in the original series is also featured.
You feel as if this movie is picking up where the series left off in a way. Don Adams and Barbara Feldon still have that amazing chemistry together, which was wonderful to see. The same catchphrases and jokes used in the series are also included in this movie, but they seem fresh and funny even after 24 years! Get Smart is and always will be a classic, and this movie just helps to prove that some things just don't get old.
