As a person who has been trying to lose weight for years, I have tried many different weight loss plans. Finally, I have found a plan that really works for me.
Instead of going to meetings, I chose to try Weight Watchers online. This was perfect for me. Weight Watchers is not a gimic weight loss plan. The only way to really lose weight is by eating less. I have always known this, of course, buy I also don't want to live on salads alone. With Weight Watchers, you can really eat whatever you want. The key is moderation.
The Flex Plan focuses on counting points. Each service of food is given a point value based on calories, fat and fiber content. While it may seem confusing at first, it takes very little time to be able to start estimating points without plugging in the numbers online. I quickly learned that by eating more fruits and vegetables, I could eat more food.
When you sign up for Weight Watchers, you are given your own personal daily points allowance based upon your weight, age, height and gender. On top of these daily points, you are also given an extra 35 points a week to use however you like. I have actually found it pretty easy to stay within my daily allowance. I use my extra 35 points to eat out one meal and I eat whatever I want.
With this plan, am averaging 1 to 2 pounds of weight loss per week. For the most part, I do not feel deprived. I am learning how to chose food more wisely. Sure, I could eat at McDonalds for lunch, but do I really want to waste all of my points on one meal?
Overall, I am really liking this weight loss plan. If you are struggling with weight loss, give this plan a try.

Weight watchers has been around for a lot of years. I think it is a good program and there are a lot of people who can not go to the meeting so this online program maybe a great thing. I did not know they had an online program so this is very helpful information.
Weight Watchers is so tried & true & it has come such a long way in now in that you don't actually have to go to the meetings-you can opt to do it online! I wish you the very best in your weight loss journey!!!
I have always been curious with Weight Watchers. I lost a great deal of weight on my own (about 80 lbs) but recently after getting put on the night shift at work (I am a boredom eater) I have regained about 30 of it back. I have been really trying to lose it but I just can't seem to get back that same motivation I had when I first lost it all. I like the idea of doing Weight Watchers online, I'm not really a social person and I don't think I would ever find myself going to the meetings. I think I might have to check it out, it just might be the jumpstart I need. How much did you end up paying going with the online service, if you don't mind me asking?
Congrats on your weight loss. I've been contemplating going back to Weight Watchers using their online program. I joined about 13 years ago before they had the points system and managed to lose quite a bit of weight - but then I started going shopping for new clothes and skipping the meetings. That along with taking cake decorating classes didn't let me keep the weight off. Weight Watchers can really work if you are commited and something like this would be good, because there's no risk of pulling into Marshalls instead of your meeting location, lol.
I have a friend who has been using the WW points program. She says that it helps her a lot. And it's so much simpler than counting calories!
I tried WW many years back. I actually lost something around 70 lbs, sadly I gained all of it back over the years. I have thought about rejoining using the on line but for some reason I keep getting cold feet. I might look into it now after reading what you wrote. Keep up the good work on your weight loss
