Self Esteen with " Eagle Eyes"

The book "Eagle Eyes" is a guide for children with learning and behavorial issues. Its shows them how to find self worth and ways of seeing things. Written for ages 4-8 and 32 pages long, it contains colorful pictures that are large, and is just the right length for them to read. The expressive illustrations of this picture book and animal theme is a guide to helping  them pay attention to the context of the book. This book teaches children with ADHD , that they have really have a form of a gift and not a disability. 

The story is about a family  and their son Ben, and how he copes with the everyday struggles with his ADHD. How it effects home, family, and school, and how he tries to fit in. How when he goes out into the woods with his father, and  has to take on the responsibiliy of dealing with an accident that envolves his father. How Ben will find  away to help his fatherl out of the woods. How he  finds the courage to not give up, and how he uses his eyes to find their way back, in order to get help for his father. He associates himself with the eyes of an eagle, by paying attention when he needs too.

At the end of the book there are two pages of discussion to recall the story. The book isn't bad, I just wish there was more of a guide on the affects that his ADHD has on him during his everyday life.
