Ipod Touch 3rd Generation
After messing up my iPod Nano a couple of weeks ago, my father took me to Best Buy to look at other iPods and Mp3 players. Upon entering Best Buy, I immediately fell in love with the iPod Touch. Its slim, and sleek yet subtle design is attractive. The chromed steel back of the Ipod Touch is similar to the design of the new iPhone 3G. It has a glass-covered 3.5 inch screen with a 480x320-pixel resolution. The physical buttons on the iTouch include a slim volume control on its' left edge, a hold switch on the top and a home button below the screen on the front of the player. A universal dock port and a headphone jack is included on the bottom of the touch.
Looks aside, the iTouch comes with a fantastic music player, great video playback that includes iTunes rentals and a YouTube player, a great photo viewer, an e-mail reader that is compatible with almost any POP e-mail servie, an iTunes store for music, videos and applications and a Safari web browser. The iPod Touch, in ways, is more of a pocket PC than an MP3 player.
