Nivea Baby Lotion Can't Soothe my Baby's Dry Skin

I tried Nivea Baby Milk Lotion on my baby after we have consumed her Nivea Baby Soft Cream. I just wanted to try it on my baby because well it is a little cheaper. It is also hypoallergenic, so there is no problem about the safety of the product. And I still use it on my baby after every bath or wash, or whenever the lotion on her skin is removed. Although her skin has already improved after the soft lotion, I found it a habit to use something on her while I massage her after her bath.

The Nivea Baby Milk Lotion is light. It is not as thick as the soft cream. When I use it to massage my baby, it does not dry up fast so it would take several more strokes than the soft cream. Although this is not a problem for me as I love massaging my baby, she would not stay still for long, especially since she has learned to roll over. So her bath rituals have been shortened. I just noticed though that the Milk Lotion is not enough for her dry skin, especially if we have air conditioning, as the cool air dries up her skin.

And I don't like it that it comes in a bottle. I have to cut the bottle in half when the lotion is almost empty so that I can really empty the container and swipe it clean (of course, sometimes what is left in the bottle is still good for 5 uses!) The Nivea Soft Cream came in a tub so it was easy to swipe the last of it. 

So for the price difference, I would still want to use the Nivea Baby Soft Cream over the milk lotion for my baby's dry skin.
