I have to hand it to Ubisoft. The people they've got in their PR department are marketing geniuses. They could sell refrigerators to people living on an iceberg, or a stack of Bibles to a group of atheists. Look at Assassin's Creed. The smooth operators behind the ad campaign have taken what is essentially a tech demo propped up by a rudimentary mission structure and parlayed it into one of the most anticipated titles of the season. My hat is off to them; the work they do is without equal. However, the developers in Ubisoft's Montreal studio who actually created the game still have a way to go.
The game is based around the idea of a creed that all assassin's follow when eliminating targets. It was a good theme but it does not allow alot of variation in the story.
The story follows a simple line. Track a target and learn what you can about them. Report what you know to the Assassin's Bereau and the assassinate you're target using the information that you have required. It can get repetitive fast but the nature of each targets location adds some interesting tactics to the gameplay.
The game features a free-running style of movement. Almost every building is possible to climb and jumping of rooftops to the streets below as gaurs case you can get quite exciting at the best of times.
Overall this game is a certain buy. It can seem tireful doing the same rutine each time to track a target, but the feeling you get whan you have your target on the ground with a knife in their neck is great each and everytime.
You are right about marketening. Games are really addicitive at any age. I my self spend time playing my kids game boy and etcs. These games and cartoons are so interestingly created which can attract the attention as well as keep any one involve.
Sounds like a pretty awsome game
This is a really awesome game and I have enjoyed playing it.
