The main question arises that why buy a classic when we can get a iPod Touch for cheaper. True, but unlike the latter this has 20 times more storage capacity and less vulnerable to damages. Ideal for a student. The reason why I chose this over others is that, because of me currently being a student and a teen I wanted a music device but I did not want it to interfere or divert me away from my studies, as the Touch is equipped with WiFi and Apps. So they are useful but not necessary. One can do without it and the main purpose of the iPod was, is and always will be music (videos and photos as well). So for a studying teen this is the appropriate media device and also will not interfere in your studies.
Now, why buy from Play.com and not directly Apple Store ? Well its true that you can do an engraving free of cost from the Apple Store but logically speaking we eventually end up putting a cover on our iPods which covers the engraving and besides later when you might get bored of it or want to buy a new one or simply want to sell it off..the engraving will decrease the value of your iPod by a great amount.
