Mr Coffee Coffee Pot

This is definatly one of those "You Get What You Pay For" deals. Buy a cheap coffee pot, get a cheap coffee pot. I haven't liked this coffee pot from the first pot of coffee that I made, that ended up being coffee with a bunch of grounds floating all around. Yuck! The top of the pot has one big flip up lid where you put the coffee and the water. There is a lever that moves over the grounds as you shut the lid down....well it gets hung up on the filter if the filter isn't down far enough. What do you get? Coffee grounds floating in your cup. The other bad design flaw with that big lid flipping up is that it has to be pulled way out away from your cupboards or you can't flip the lid up all the way. I am sure that like most people our pot sits on the counter with upper cupboards above. It is very inconvenient to have to slide it all the way out to make coffee. Do not buy this coffee pot, I should have returned it as soon as I relized what a pain it was. We are trying to patiently wait until it dies so we can invest in a better one. :-)
