Pampered Chef Quick Stir Pitcher

I have bought many Pampered Chef over the years, and to be honest, I have not been all that impressed with most of the gadgets- they broke easily, or just didn't work like they claimed.  That was until I got the Quick Stir Pitcher- I LOVE this product!!

The pitcher holds 2 quarts of liquid, plus whatever mix you are adding in.  The 2-quart line is clearly marked on the pitcher, and I think it is easy to read, even when filling with a dark colored drink.  The lid for the pitcher has a paddle with blades on the bottom of it, and when you put the lid onto the pitcher, there is a handle at the top that you can pull the paddle up and down in the drink.  This mixes up the liquid- no more mixing kool-aid with messy spoons, and no more gritty iced tea because the mix didn't dissolve the whole way.  When you pull the paddles through the liquid, it creates a stirring motion (it sort of reminds of a washing machine agitator type motion), which stirs the liquid up.  It works surprisingly fast- it is very efficient, and the best part for me is that there is no mess to clean up afterwards, because you do all the stirring with the lid closed!  My 4-year-old can even mix his own Kool-Aid now- it is very easy to use.

There are two ways to pour the liquid out of the pitcher; a strained setting, and a regular "open" setting.  I think the one down side to the pitches is that the paddle cannot be removed from the lid, so if something happened to it, I don't know if it could be replaced.  That being said, I have thrown both parts into my dishwasher for easy clean up.  The pitcher is clear, and does not stain or smell, no matter what kind of drinks you are mixing up in it.  Highly recommended!
