The FatMax Jabsaw by Stanley is over the top and there's no need for it. In my opinion this is a prime example of the tool industry trying to lure the homeowner Joes that don't know any better by beefing up something that doesn't need beefing up and making it worse in the process. There's absolutely no need to have a double action, sharptooth technology tempered and hardened blade to cut drywall. Drywall is like chalk caught between two layers of paper. It's like saying you need a carbide tooth blade to cut through a watermelon. Furthermore, it's dangerous to jab a tool as sharp as this one is in a wall or ceiling if you don't know for certain what's behind it. I've sliced holes in plumbing with this tool. The blade is so sharp you could cut yourself. The rigidness of the blade is unnecessary and makes it nearly impossible to bevel cut against studs or joists without sawing into them. And, for all this you get to pay double the cost of the right tool!
