The Haunted Mansion (DVD)

"The Haunted Mansion" is an awesome movie made by Disney for the older audience (although my daughter watched it for the first time at about 3 and lthough probably for different reasons loved it as much as I did).  It stars Eddie Murphy so you know it has to be funny. He plays the part of a real estate agent who works too hard and spends too little time with his family. Due to his job, he and his family end up at a mansion, Gracey Manor.  Here they run into ghosts upon ghosts. However, instead of being scary, this movie is hilarious as the family fights to end the curse on the mansion.

This is a great movie for your family. My family watches it every Halloween when we get in from Trick-Or-Treating.  All of us have different favorite scenes so it is fun to not only watch the movie, but to watch which scenes your children find funny.  Being that we are big Disney World fans, we also like one of the bonus features - "The History of the Haunted Mansion Attraction."  When we are missing Disney World, we pop in this DVD and watch this short clip. My daughter is also a huge Disney channel fan so she loves the Raven video included in the Special Features of this movie.
