Coby Ultra Compact DVD Player
We have had this Coby Ultra Compact DVD Player for a few months now. Since it was very inexpensive, we do not expect it to last more than a year, but if it does burn out then, we will have gotten our money's worth.
This Coby does not have a built in screen, so you do need to hook this unit up to a TV or monitor to use it. It does come with an AV cord. It also has a remote with a gazillion funtions, so you don't have to keep getting up to manually change things.
This unit is nice and small, so it is a great little portable DVD player. It performs about the same as our big old DVD player. The picture and sound are fine. The unit does have something of a little hum, but it is usually not noticeable and this can be remedied a bit by placing the unit on something soft like the arm of a living room chair or a towel.
This player is pretty easy to use, but the lid on the DVD compartment does not pop up all the way, so you have to be careful when removing or DVDs or placing them in there so you do not scratch them.
This player is nice looking in silver and is so small, it does not take up much room. You can put it in your bag and take it anywhere.
If you accept that this Coby 209 is a temporary DVD player, it will work out for you. It's a fun little player.

This unit quit working after only 3 months of use. I do not recommend.
