Panasonic Cordless Phone & Answering System

Share and Enjoy:
This is pretty much your standard cordless phone with a digital answering machine. I have owned it for a few years now without a problem. I've only had to replace the handset batteries twice, only because I tried a generic set for the first replacement. The originals lasted about three years. Panasonic batteries bought direct are quite high. The GE batteries I'm now using are great and half the price of the Panasonic. Other than that and the call/end button being too close to the ear piece, I have had no other complaints.

The built-in digital answering machine uses a microchip to record messages for easy, no fuss operation. The total recording time is 15 minutes, which is enough for me but might not be to some users. The answering machine setup (recording your welcome message, playback, deletion, etc.) is simple after a few uses. You will need to refer to the quick reference card at times until you get the hang of it. You can playback messages on the base or handset.

It has a few other notable features. It has an intercom system which uses the handset as the mic and the base as the speaker. The base is also the handset battery charger, which touches two connectors on the bottom of the handset. It can be hung on the wall or used on a flat surface. It also has a ten number fast dial memory.

This is a good name brand phone with a digital answering machine at an affordable price.
