Canon Elura 100 is great!
When looking for a new camcorder I researched enough to know I wanted the longevity and editing capabilities of a MiniDV Camcorder. I know and trust the Canon name in digital photography.
The Elura 100 camera has true widescreen recording capabilities in addition to standard format, smooth 20x zoom control. It includes a mic and analog inputs.
The functionality of the camera makes it easy to use. The buttons are cleanly designed with a 5 way joystick control. Still photos can be taken in addition to videos. Digital effects are available too.
The LCD and viewfinder provide clear pictures, even in sunlight. The videos are vivid and accurate in color. The only drawback to this camera comes in low light situations, video was not as clear and vivid.
The Canon Elura 100 is a great middle of the road MiniDV camera. I love the small size and can actually throw it in my purse if need be! Its cost, ease of use, portability, and finished product make it a great buy and a great product!
