Copying Colored Cross Stitch Patterns
Share and Enjoy:
I'm an avid cross stitcher and I had several hard cover books full of beautiful patterns that I needed help with. The patterns were all in color codes, could not be copied, and the book was too hard to work with as it was impossible to keep a line magnet in the book, hold the book for reference in my lap and cross stitch all at the same time. I came up with putting the page I needed copied and running it through my scanner into the computer and printing it out like a picture. I purchased a package of Canon Matte Photo Paper for my inkjet printer and the pattern came out exactly like the page in my book, all the colors crisp and precise. A box of 50 sheets cost $9.99 at Best Buy and it was the "best" idea for this application. It was affordable, bright white paper for vibrant colors which is exactly what I needed. I like to think I came up with a good solution to my problem but perhaps this review will help another cross stitcher with the same problem.
