Waring Pro Deep Fryer
This fryer proved to me that food can be deep-fried without it becoming grease-laden. I'll admit I've always been wary of deep-fried foods as they usually leave me feeling sick to my stomach and regretting it. Not so much with the foods from this Waring Pro fryer! The precise 1800 watt heating element and temperature control allow food to be crisped perfectly on the outside and cooked evenly throughout. After three batches of food including hand-breaded chicken tenders, french fries, and fried mozzarella, I was still left with nearly the exact amount of oil in the fryer as when I started. That's a good sign that the fried foods I was enjoying were not retaining it.
Not only does this make excellent food, but it's a safe fryer too. The domed lid allows you to look inside while keeping the operator safe from oil splashes. This same feature also channels condensation away from the oil, keeping splattering to a minimum. The unit also features a 3ft. breakaway cord for added safety. On top of that, the basket handle remains cool at all times, making food removal easy.
As for cleaning it, the basket, heating element and oil resevoir all come clean quickly with warm, soapy water. The resevoir, lid and basket are also dishwasher safe. The stainless steel finish shines and the fryer's size makes the appliance adaptable to almost any kitchen.
