Proctor-Silex toaster oven
I purchased this Proctor-Silex toaster oven about two months ago, and it really comes in handy. It's great for preparing small-size food, such as cheese toast, mini-pizza, pizza rolls and biscuits. I no longer have to heat up the house with my full-size oven to prepare small snacks. It's great to use in the kitchen, rec room, or on a boat or motor home. It's much better than a microwave for preparing food (microwaves, in my opinion, should only be used to warm foods, not cook them).
The toaster oven is about 18 inches wide and 8 inches high.
The timer can be set to a maximum of 15 minutes. And just like your regular oven, you can set the temperature to your preference. If you need more time, it can be reset. There are heating elements on both the top and the bottom, enabling food to be cooked on both sides at once.
The only complaint I have so far with this item is that the timer and temp knobs seem a little flimsy. Use care when handling the knobs, as rough handling may cause them to come off.
Otherwise, I'm very pleased and would definately buy it again!
