I own the Walk Away the Pounds Express Walk DVD. This includes 3 different walks: 1 mile, 2 mile, and 3 mile. This is a wonderful exercise program for those just beginning or those of us who can't handle high impact exercise and need something else to help us keep the pounds off. Hosted by Leslie Sansone, the concept is simple: in home walking that involved 4 easy steps. You have your basic march or walk, kicks, side steps, and knee lifts. These are the only 4 steps you need in order to do the workout. The great thing is that you walk to the speed of the music, you can do as high or low impact as you like. Leslie keeps track of the distance walked, so that you can walk as little or as much as you can. I have gotten wondeful results from the DVD. Starting off with the 1 mile and working my way up as my fitness level improves. This is a great option since I do not have a safe outdoor area to walk in and it is wondeful for my fitness level because I can make it as hard as I want. It is such a great invention by Leslie Sansone and she really encourages you get up and get moving. What a difference this walk makes in my weight, energy and general health!
