Waialua Falls
On Kauai, there is a beautiful 80 foot waterfall. If you have ever seen Fantasy Island, this waterfall was part of the opening scene of the television show. It's called Waialua Falls and the best thing about this waterfall, besides its beauty, is that it is easily accessible. You park and walk a couple feet and there it is, right off the road! You will be a bit away from the falls looking down at it. There isn’t any hiking trail down to the falls because it's too dangerous. It's still a great picture taking spot, though. The best time to view the falls is early morning because of the great picture you can get from the sun shining down on the falls. As with other waterfalls, the amount of rain can change Waialua Falls dramatically. Rain or drought, though, it's still a site to see.
