Queen of the Damned
Lestat, played by Stuart Townsend, plays a sexy vampire who has awoken in a our world of rock and roll. He finds acceptance within a wanna-be Goth rock band and chooses to reveal himself as a vampire through his music as well as reveal the secrets of the vampire world. Which of course makes ever new world and old world vampire angry and enraged and making them come out of the wood work on a course for Lestat's blood.
Akasha is an all powerful and selfish Queen who takes pleasure in human and vampire blood alike. She doesn't care who she has to kill to get it and has a goal to take over the new world with Lestat by her side. Lestat strikes a chord in her that no other vampire has ever and she is seeking him to be her King.
A clever librarian gets thrown into the mix with her curiosity into Lestat's life and is willing to pay the ultimate sacrifice to keep him safe.
This is an amazing movie and is not really all that scary, but it is definitely worth the ten dollars I paid for it and it is one of those movies that will keep you on your toes!
