Arm and Hammer Pet Odor

Overwhelming scent in a box, can you get any more offensive? This doesn't really deodorize the carpet but puts a powder that seems to choke your breath away after it is sprinkled on to the carpet. When I first used it, I wanted to vacuum it up as fast as possible to get that terrible smell out of the air, so it did nothing but cover any scent that was there to begin with.

As for ease of use, this is about the only thing that the product has going for it. You sprinkle, than you vacuum, it is very hard to go wrong with this process. The thing that I do not understand is how the sprinkling on the top layer of the carpet is supposedly going to deodorize the carpet to where the scent is lying, at each layer - the cleaning solution often doesn't have time to make it to the bottom. 

As well, for those of you who have pets - you know how difficult it is to keep them off of the carpet, or out of the area for any period of time, I was concerned with the toxicity of the product. After all, I found it hard to breathe while I was just sprinkling it!

It was a one time try, and I would never use it again!
