Target Floor Lamp

For my dorm room, I needed some kind of dim light that added ambiance to the already sterile environment. Target was having a college dorm room sale and was selling a paper floor lamp. Basically, it's a black stick centered on a small black base with a light bulb on the end. Over this, a paper-like covering goes around the lamp. It creates a nice earth-toned light brown color throughout the room. Moreover, it has a floor switch whhich you can tap with your foot. The lamp doesn't come with its own light bulb, so you'll have to buy own. I recommend a low-watt bulb, such a 40 watt. This ensures that the lamp creates a light glow that is just right for environment. Otherwise, the bulb might shine too bright for the thin paper covering. Overall, I am very pleased with this lamp for its awesome look and price!
