Bad Boys (DVD)
"Bad Boys" is a comedy starring Martin Lawrence and Will Smith. Lawrence and Smith play the roles of Mike and Marcus who are police partners. The two work in the narcotics division, and it is at risk at being closed down after massive amounts of drugs are missing from evidence. These two men must work together to save their jobs and solve crimes.
While I love the action and comedy behind this movie every time I see it, I have never been happy with the language in this movie. It is so funny, but it would be just as funny if the actors did not use the extreme language that they use so frequently. This is a movie that I have to save for nights when my daughter is not home and spending the night with grandparents because I don't even want her to wake up and stumble into the living room while watching it. So while I think this is a great and funny action-packed movie, it could use some wiser choices in the language deparment. Because of this language, it is rated R.
