Felt Electric 13 Watt CFL Bulb
The CFL bulb by Felt Electric is one of the most energy efficient bulbs available to consumers. When I purchased the 6 PK for a mere $4.88, well under the price of comparable CFL bulbs, I was sure the product would not be as efficient as the higher priced, name brand varieties.
The Felt Electric CFL bulb surprised me in regards to quality. The bulb lasts more than one year (I have never replaced an installed Felt Electric bulb due to burnout). The compact nature of the buld allows the consumer to use this product even in small lamps that usually require specialized bulbs.
The delay time between turning the light switch on and the bulb illuminating is a little longer than I would expect. The initial reaction for the consumer would be the need to replace the bulb, but just as you get this feeling it illuminates. The 13W nature of the Felt Electric CFL bulb leaves a little to be desired on the brightness scale.
I would recommend this product highly. The energy and money saved on replacing bulbs is an asset to any consumer. Getting used to the products delay and low level of brightness will just take a little time!
