A high tech security for your computer.
Now, this isnt a complete review but I have run this on someones computer.
Pros:
A very good Virus scanner, A very good firewall and internet security
Cons:
Very memory hogging, Hard to use for a beginner
Norton 2008 is very good to keep a computer secure it has many features such as a network map to see whos logged into your wireless network or wired network. I ran this on my fairly new computer and it had picked up alot of malware and tracking cookies, I was very surprised at how much it had picked up, But in the background there was alot of lag and it was not enjoyable.
Bottom line: This is a very high tech computer security system and it comes with cost, it will definately slow down your computer but it will keep your computer clean and untouchable.

I agree! Great protection, but boy does it slow down your computer A LOT. I think I'm going to let mine expire and won't be getting it again. I can't stand a slow comuter! Thanks for sharing your experience.

I have this and it is very true about slowing the computer down. Frustrating to say the least. Ugh...
Agree with you that symantec really slows our system down , very frustrating when we want to load the page fast. but still protection is better than none at all.

I have to agree Nortons is ok. AVG is free and a very good one.
I had a lot of trouble with Norton. It would shut me out of my computer for an hour at a time several times a day.
Yes, Norton 2009 is very much faster than previous versions, this newer version doesn't slow down systems and has more reliability. Also it takes less the 1 min to install and uses 7mb of memory....! great !
