1 GB Flash Drive
By Georgia Sawhook onMy last computer didn't have a CD burner and I wanted to transfer and save many of my files for backup.I went to Micro Center and found that they had 1 GB 2.0 flash drives for $15.99.It's also called a thumb drive.
It was so easy.It's USB 2.0 so all I had to do was put it into the USB hub on my computer and bring up Windows Explorer and click and transfer anything I wanted to back up and save.It was like having the old floppy disk except much more compact and MUCH more space on it.
I bought 2 of them and was able to back up so much of my files on it so if anything happened to my computer, I would have everything I needed on these flash drives.Awesome!I just went online and see that they now offer these for $9.99.That's $6 cheaper than when I bought them.So guess who's going to Microcenter to buy some more.
