The Sony - 10W Micro Hi-Fi Shelf System with Built-in Apple® iPod® Dock is a very great product. It has very good sound quality. It has an easy to navigate system, an easy remote interface, and more. The speakers attach separately so you can place them as far as the cord will reach. It has an AM and FM radio reciever. This Dock was easy to put together and simple to get started. There is a headphone jack for private listening as well. It has a built in CD player with a very sleek design. Also, it charges your iPod very very quickly. It's a joy to have.

There are a few things I do not like about this item however. There is no permanent clock. You can push the display button and the clock will stay up for about 10 seconds then go away again. Also, it can only work when it is fully turned on. Your ipod will not charge or play until it is out of standby mode.

Other than those two minor flaws, I would say this is a very good quality item for the price we got for it. It's really a one of a kind iPod docking system!
