Kay Jewelers is one of the most successful nationwide jewelry store chains -- and with good reason. The service we received in their Lubbock, TX location was spectacular. Unfortunately, many jewelry stores seem to size their potential customers up and vary their customer service depending on how big their potential sale might be. Not so for Kay. Despite being, how shall I put this, "young and on a budget," we were treated with the utmost attention by their friendly, dedicated, and knowledgable staff. The wedding band we eventually purchased is beautiful and goes very well with my engagement ring (a completely seperate purchase); furthermore, it would go well with a wide variety of other rings. Kay offers a great warranty plan -- if you bring your ring in for inspection once every six months, you are covered for any damage that might befall it. Unfortunately, we may have to take advantage of this soon, as one of the diamonds is jutting out from the setting and looks like it is in danger of falling out. Additionally, the yellow gold has a tendency to scratch. However, by and large, this is a great product and I am confident in Kay's willingness to make it right.

I love to hear stories of excellent customer service. I know exactly what you mean about sizing up the customer and not providing good customer service to those you think are not spending a huge amount of money. Every store should treat all customers the same and it sounds like Kay did that for you.
