I received a Polaroid 15.4" flat panel widescreen LCD HD TV as a gift from my mother. The first thing I said was " Uh, you shouldn't have done this, how much was it"? I was shocked to hear that this sleek and attractive high-quality TV was a mere $225.

This tv also doubles as a computer monitor, so before I even took it out of the box I was concerned that it would be too small to see. However, once I hooked it up, across the room, and sat on my bed, I realized I was poorly mistaken. This is the perfect size TV for someone single, and someone who doesn't want the hassle of lugging around a huge TV.

The sound is also great. I used to scoff at flat panel TVs because I thought the sound and picture quality on the ones I have tried out were a sham. This tv, while smaller in size, has a big, crisp sound. When the box boasted surround sound quality, I thought too good to be true, But I was wrong!

The picture is also very clear. Keep in mind, in order to get HD TV you might have to upgrade your cable box. I will provide an update once mine comes.

My only complain is that I think they could have done better with the romote. Its farily slim and def. functional to use, but I would have appreciated a romote that was more compact in size.

This is hands down one of the best electronics I have ever owned, and for $225, you can't go wrong! Now that I've gone LCD, I won't go back!
