17" Laptop Bag

I got my husband a new laptop for Christmas but we didn't get a laptop bag at the time.

When I was in Wal-Mart yesterday, I remembered my husband looking at the carrying bags. They only had this one style in the store that would hold his 17" laptop, so I got it.

I know many people are going for Netbooks, but we need the storage capacity of a larger laptop for all the work we do.

This bag is great! It holds so many things and has so many compartments for pretty much anything you need to be on the go with your laptop.When I get mine, I will get a bag like this too.

This is also a "messenger bag" and has a nicely padded shoulder strap. The case can also hold a smaller laptop, as it has a divider for them too. Not to mention an area to hold paper and files.

The front zip down part of the bag is considered a "workstation". This is cool because you can put your portable mini mouse, USB attachments, calculator, MP3 player, cell phone, cords - you name it... you can put it in here.

And, the side of the bag has a zipper that holds a mesh bag so you can put your water or soda bottle in it.

I'm telling you, it really is a cool bag and my husband is more than thrilled. I am too because this means less chance of him scratching the laptop or dropping it when he takes it away from home.

The weight of the bag is 3 pounds and the materials seem to be very sturdy. There are lots of reviews on Wal-Mart's website that all rate this 5 stars, or at least I saw the star rating was at 5. I didn't read the comments.

We don't have a rolling travel case, but the other side of the bag has a zippered pocket that includes a luggage strap that states it attaches to a rolling travel case. So maybe that will be my next purchase?
