19 Minutes
By allie63078 onI am a bookaholic.I love reading and there is hardly ever a time when you won't find me with a book. That being said, one thing I do in almost every trip to Wal-mart is peruse the book section. On one of my recent trips, I saw a new stand that had a variety of books by Jodi Picoult.I had never heard of her before, but the books looked interesting, so I purchased a couple of them. One of them was 19 Minutes. It is a story about a horrific school shooting and about the boy that in 19 minutes, changed not only his life, but also the lifes of numerous students & staff at his school.
This book, while extremely interesting & descriptive, is also very riveting. There are so many emotions that go through your mind as you are reading this book such as pity, disgust, horror & bewilderment.Jodi Picoult has a style of writing that keeps your attention and almost keeps you on the edge of your seat wondering what will come next.Anyone who wants a great book with a surprising ending, should definitely pick up a copy of this book.
