When I turned 16, I recieved a 1998 Toyota 4Runner SR5 for my birthday. I have since driven it for nearly thirty thousand miles, and it has been an amazing ride the entire way. To start off, it has a surprisingly peppy V6 engine, which has more than enough zest to get the truck up to speed both on and off road. I regularly go offroading in my 4Runner, and nothing has broken yet, and trust me, this one has been bashed. I recently performed a suspension upgrade, which gave me long travel in both the front and rear, and it only cost me fifteen hundred bucks. The install was very easy due to the simplicity of the 4Runner, and everything worked flawlessly. My only complaint about the car is the very poor gas mileage, I only average about 12 miles per gallon.
