1999 Chevrolet Camaro SS

This car is perhaps one of the best value sports cars around today. The Chevrolet Camaro was discontinued in 2002, though thankfully it is coming back in 2009, however even in the absence of new models it is still a force in the muscle car world. The last models came with an all-aluminum 5.7 liter LS1 motor. While many sports cars have gone to the supposedly high-tech overhead-cam design, Chevrolet has continued to prove that the pushrod engine is nothing to laugh at.Factory rated at 320 horsepower, this car has plenty of power and lots more on tap with the abundance of aftermarket products available.I have always loved the styling of this car, but appearance brings me to my one complaint, the interior. While comfortable enough, the overuse of mono-color plastic and cheap leather bring the experience in this car down considerably.I will admit that I am picky, though, and that for the price and amazing performance, it is a small price to pay.

The Camaro is coming back! That's good news. My sister owned one in the 80's I thought that was the coolest car, until, well I won't go there this is about the Camaro. I really prefer the older Camaro to every model that has come out since the 80's. It would be nice if the 2009 models are reminiscent of the old hot rods. I know, they're all doing that--the GTO, Mustang...A revamped Camaro would be nice to add to the mix.
