2002 Ford Escape By Fox_Dawson on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I drive a 2002 Ford Escape and I absolutely love it. I wish I had a hybrid or at least a newer model but this one was affordable. It's been in 2 accidents and has never been fixed but has never broken down on me. I couldn't afford to get it's oil changed for awhile and when I took it in it actually had no oil in it! I felt really bad but also amazed that my car was still running. It is such a reliable vehicle. It also looks great and gets pretty good gas mileage for an SUV. It takes only a little bit more than my partner's 08 Ford Focus to fill up the tank. It's big so I can drive it on all kinds of terrain but it's smaller than most SUVs so it's easier to drive. The only thing I don't like about my Escape is that it is two wheel drive. There are four wheel drive Escapes out there but mine is not one of them. Other than that, I really recommend the Ford Escape. It is durable, easy to drive, and can take harsh conditions.

Update Posted on :

I just realized that my daughter left the interior light on in my car for 3 days! I panicked and tried to start my engine...It works just fine!  I love my car.

SUVs are great for trips and storage but the fuel prices here especially in NY where the costs are like double most other US states really make this something I can't afford for now.Good review though!
