2003 Kia Rio, All Problems By dani24am on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

This was the first car i bought on my own. Hence why i went for something cheap. It was a 2003 Kia Rio that i purchesed in 2006 with 40,000 miles on it. The car gets great gas milage and had ok storage space, enough for groceries and toting stuff for work. This si not a great car for kids as a car seat would barely fit in the back and there is next to no leg room in the back seat. About a year after i bought the car i started having transmission problems. I took it to the dealership and said they fixed it. The car worked great for a few months then the warnety expired due to milage (i travel alot for work) and the transmission started acting up this time it wouldn't shift into gear (i had an auto) and i took it in and said it would need a new transmission but couldn't tell me why it wasn't working! Come to find out i have a friend with the same car having teh same problem. I decided to cut my losses and get rid of the car because i couldn't afford a new transmission.

Japanese/Spanish name and the keys aren't even in your hand yet. That's already too much confusion! glad you got away from it! Good write!
